Push an email into OTRS

 

This workflow describes how to create a new ticket by pushing a personal email into OTRS.

If you receive an email message from a Customer that you feel needs to be recorded in the OTRS ticketing system, you can forward your Customers email message to OTRS using the email address, support@cadpro.co.nz

NOTE: The message will be received by OTRS but it will see that you have sent it, meaning, OTRS considers you to be the customer.

Use the 'Change the Customer' link under 'People' to change the customer.
